HTML element <p> specifies a paragraph. Try this out:

Elements for specifying headings in HTML pages are h1,h2,h3,h4,h5 and h6.
h1 specifies the largest and most important heading and h6 the smallest heading.
Try this:
<h1>Heading 1</h1>
<p>Text under Heading 1.</p>
<h2>Heading 2</h2>
<p>Text under Heading 2</p>
<h3>Heading 3</h3>
